The medina - which means “town” - is the oldest part of Marrakesh. This area is completely walled-in and being there is like stepping back in time. Bustling with thousands of vendors offering everything from hand-crafted leather sandals to spices, we were charmed by the sights, the aromas, and especially the people. We’ve worked with our dear friend Hafid to create these handcrafted pieces just for you. We treasure our relationship and the collaboration with him and the local artisans who brought the Medina Market Baskets to life for us. These intricately constructed baskets are woven in one village and then lovingly finished out in another village with hand-dyed leather details that are delicately sewn on the handles and an accent Mer-Sea tag.
